Hello Norwegian lads,,
I'm from Copenhagen, supporting FCK. As you might know Ståle Solbakken is our manager and Bård Wiggen the ass. manager.
I think Bård Wiggen is a former Start manager right?
I wanna get some information about one of you players, Mads Stokkelien. Since i havent watched any Start matches, but only seen youtube vids, i found out that Mads Stokkelien is a young, tall, strong and goal scoring striker. He scored 10 goals in 20 matches and he is only like 19?
But how good is he without the ball? Does he understand the game well? How is his speed and pace? Is he a clever player or just some giant goal scoring mutant?
Thats all for now cya, and hope u gonna answer
Best regards from cph

Well, the story about Mads Stokkelien is quite unique. He had no experience on the first team before this season, and even if he had scored a lot of goals on the second team, no one really expected him to play more than maybe a few minutes towards the end of some games. He came on as a sub against Brann and scored a bullet on volley and after that he scored in all the following games he started/or played as a sub. He had some unbelievable goals and will atleast have a couple of goals in the contest of the best goals of the season.
He is a very smart player. He reminds me about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that played for Man Utd. He has a great shot and great timing. Other than the 10 goals he has so far, he have had one cracker from long range that hit the crossbar against Fredrikstad.
He is not a big solid player, even though he is pretty tall. He is not really fast, but again - he is very smart and have a great shot.
The thing with Mads is that he is very focused on learning and the last game he played he showed a big improvement without the ball. He had a great assist (header) and he worked hard for the team.
He is very down to earth and will not "take off" and think he is a superstar!
I think he will improve greatly next season and hopefully score even more goals than this season. I also think he has the skills to make it to a big European leage in a few years.
I believe Copenhagen will be playing Start next summer, so you can come up and see him for yourself... You are welcome to come and watch him, but do not think that we will sell him to you guys just because you have our former assistant coach with you! ;)
All the best!
